last 2 nights I been playing with the ITCH 1.7 version.
all the improvements are great and once we get the bridge it will be more fun!
additionally, I follow the instructions on the vestax website to updated the firmware,
the process went fine but as I been playing this past 2 nights and checking all the control in the VCI 300,
i came across a weird behavior
actually, I rarely use the auto tempo or sync function, I beatmatch manually, align the music manually and make fine adjustments by nudging the turntables,
so the auto tempo and sync function are not critical to me, but I am concerned because the vci is behaving weird when I select SYNC *shift + autotempo) and I want to make sure the vci does not lose stability, which has been great to me.
basically when I select the sync function (shift + autotempo), the vci is not doing what is supposed to do, in fact what is happening is that autotempo turns on on both decks.
please advice on how to fix this or if it affects the stability of the vci?

Hi DJ_Chele.
Sorry, I'm not understanding you properly. Can you please describe what 'autotempo turns on on both decks' means? Do you mean pressing SHIFT+SYNC engages playack to both stopped virtual decks? Or....?
Cheers.

when two songs are playing, and say I want deck B to be sync with deck A, then the vci is not doing what is was doing before which was to match deck B to the closest transient in deck A. Now, there is not matching to the closest transient, instead, both decks auto tempo turns on and the tempos are matched,
so it seems that the shift + sync does not work properly anymore

Right - there are two different ways to Sync and Autotempo now.
If you have selected 'Enable Beatgrids' in the Setup screen, then Auto-tempo just gets the tempos matched, while SYNC will snap the transients and get the beatgrids matched.
If you have this option disabled then the Auto-tempo and Sync functions are the same as they are before.
Does that work for you now?

when i press Sync (shift + autotempo)
autotempos light up in both decks and then both decks have the same tempo,
for example, most of the time 2 songs do not need to be at the same tempo to be beatmatched, one deck can at 128.94 and the other deck needs to be at 128.45
and the songs are perfectly beatmatched,
so when i have the songs perfectly beatmatched and i want to use the sync option
the program is not jumping to the closest transient as it used to do before,
now the program matches the tempo from one deck to the other and both autotempo's light up.
basically the sync option is not working

You are right - pressing Sync will Sync AND Auto-tempo at the same time, not just Sync.
I've logged this as a bug.
Sorry for the hassle.
Cheers for bringing this to our attention.

I'm sorry I can't offer any advice on when this can be fixed, though rest assured we're wanting this to be fixed as soon as possible.
Cheers DJ Chele! We're here for you guys after all, and as a DJ too I want everyone to have things working smoothly as well as myself :D

Nice to know it's a bug, we have tested in our Lab the Vestax VCI-300 MKII and we were going crazy to see how the sync work in ITCH 1.7!

However, if you use Sync and have Beatgrids turned on in the Setup screen, things should work better :D

They are working ok but i would love them to work as before as well, is it a firmware or a software issue?
