when I unplug the xone dx is offline, but not passed to the default soundcard. so I can not hear anything in offline player. I have not slept at all well with all these problems to solve.

i had the same issue - basically there is a bug and the control for the volume doesnt show - it is actually there on the left hand side www.numark.com above the meters - if you hover over it and click the mouse it suddenly appears - then you can turn the volume up and everything should be ok.
