Product: video-sl
Computer: mac
OS Version: 10.6.2
---
I just bought Video-SL and installed it on my new MacBook Pro and discovered that the iSight camera wouldn't work anymore. I had to do a complete reinstall of OS X and loaded software one at a time and know for sure it is Video-SL that is affecting it. I am not sure why it is affecting the camera at all but I do not really want a disabled camera nor an uninstalled Video-SL. Has anyone heard of such a problem and are you working on a fix?

Thank you for your response
1. The camera was not working in any app
2. The camera was not working in any user
3. yes it was recognized
4. Tried all this and more and nothing worked
I think I should have mentioned the following as well.
Before posting this problem, I talked to AppleCare for quite sometime and they were going to have me send the computer back. I told them I would do the complete reinstall of OS X first to make sure it wasn't a software issue. This resulted in the camera working properly again until I installed Video-SL again. After having to start over once again I refuse to install Video-SL until I have a backup of everything so I don't have to start over. I am working on backing everything up but have to wait till I pull everything off my External and reformat it to Mac which is in progress.

Just wanted to give you an update. I finally was able to back up everything and I just downloaded the updated Video-SL 1.2 straight from the website instead of using the CD. I have not had any problems with the iSight camera not working so the bug must have been fixed with the update. Also, I did check and the above file is installed. Thank you!
