I do want to express some disappointment with the UGHH situation. I was able to get a few copies from Japan of Orange and Green, but the extras went to other collectors quickly. I only have one set of each here. I planned on getting more with the US release. I still haven't used them out yet, waiting until I get extras.
I trusted UGHH to have this pre-order for two reasons.

The frenzy of these pre-orders has hit an all time high. There are literally thousands of Serato end users' dollars wrapped up in Serato records that aren't in their hands. It would be unfortunate for a store to take advantage of this situation by offering a product they don't have access to or that doesn't exist.
UGHH had to get the information for pre-orders from somewhere. If this was a mis-communication between STOKYO and UGHH about what product they would be able to sell, then it should be dealt with and adjusted. Since the Pressing line is an exclusive product there needs to be clear information from distributor to retailer about release dates and important info like quantity pressed and album artwork needs to be regulated. For example some stores listed Chico Mann as limited to 500 and had all their pre-orders sold before Wax Poetics officially released the info and pre-order as 1000 available. Now you can still buy from Wax Poetics, is it fair for them that other retailers sold their product in a fraction of the time just because they changed one number.
Every piece in the puzzle is important and needs to be respected, especially the customer. UGHH has a great representation of the Serato Pressings line and if they don't come through with these Orange and Greens Kings they can count themselves out of the running for future Serato sales. If retailers abuse the information they should be restricted from the distribution level. Just don't sell them any more pressings.
I propose that the remainder of Orange and Greens go to UGHH with a limit of one set each to the people that have pre-orders. In the future, if there is going to be a color or variation as limited as these were, limit the outlet to one source. It would have been better to say that Oranges and Green were only available from Japan that having a bunch of collectors chase breadcrumbs. We're just making more work for Dave by bogging this thread down.
TO EVERYBODY
Slow down and take a deep breathe. If collecting records is not fun for you, DON'T DO IT. Set limits. I'll admit that I have gone crazy ordering multiple copies of some releases, but take it from my own experience that I have slowed down for good reason. It's always nice to make your money back on ebay but it seems like a lot of people are counting on that. Look how many Maddslinkys are listed for double their price and you can still buy it at many places for regular price.
Are these pre-orders selling out so quick because a lot of people are buying them or because a few people are buying a lot of them at once?
There will always be new collectors getting into the game and old collectors getting out, so the secondary market will always be there. Maybe the more limited releases should all have 1-2 sets per customer limits.

They do a lot of super limited releases and you have to pay a monthly fee just to have access to some of them. When you get a record that is limited they send it to you with your name on on it. Third Man tells you right on the webpage, if you want you money back to sell the rare stuff on ebay and to send them the difference. Seems to be working good for them. They have some damn cool records.
For me, the best part of collecting Serato records is connecting with other collectors. I end using the same 4 pairs over and over again even through I have hundreds of CVs. I love being able to pull out a special pair on occasion but it doesn't matter. I care more about what I can do with control vinyl than what color the control vinyl is. I also care about finding genuine connections (people) in the vast sea of bullshit we are surrounded by so be good to each other people. Go take it out on the decks. Control Vinyl Battle anyone?
