The Story
In today’s world it’s becoming harder and harder for record labels to justify pressing vinyl. Rising oil costs are affecting both production prices and distribution.
We at Serato love vinyl, and many of us were vinyl junkies well before we worked here.
Serato produce a large number of records and we realised we have an opportunity to get music released on the format we love, by pressing it on the same record as our Control Tone.
As the idea of Serato Pressings developed we shared it with some of our DJ friends that make records.
