Hi Charles,

We recommend XP over Vista as it more stable for running Scratch LIVE. That said, Scratch LIVE is compatible with Vista and you should be able to run it without many or any problems. We have some Vista machines here in the office and they work fine. Also worth noting is that a good quality laptop with Vista will run a lot better than a cheap, poor quality one.
