What version of ITCH are you using?

Regarding WMA files, sorry there is no way that ITCH will read them, without converting them to a supported format.

i have version 1.0.3 i check the site for up dates............none.. this is a big problem after spending $899,000 i would think its not too much to ask for, the platter work.

When you say ITCH is freezing, is it the hardware that is becoming non-responsive, or the software completely freezes? Have you built overviews for all your files, and removed corrupt files from your library?

the software freezes yes, i also built overviews..................but i think a bigger problem is the platters one minute they work the next minute they dont scratch.i adjust the setting in the rear of the controler.

SAME PROBLEM HERE. I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY ADJUST THE DIALS ON THE BACK OF THE UNIT. IM NOT SURE IF THEY MOVE IN TRANSPORT OR THEY JUST NEED TO BE ADJUSTED EACH TIME THE UNIT IS RESET. IF SO THAT IS TERRIBLE.

What is the specifcation of your vista computer (processor, RAM, etc) Regarding your built overviews, have you identified and removed all of the corrupt files from your library (files with a lightning bolt next to them)
Also, with the VCI, does adjusting the sensitivity on the back of the VCI have any effect for you at all?

COMPUTER HAS 2.00 GB RAM @ 1.80 GHZ 32 BITS OPERATING SYSTEM. THE ITCH HAS NOT FREEZE ON ME IN A WHILE..BUT THE PLATTERS ARE THE PROBLEM, I REMOVE ALL CORRUPT FILES I ALSO ADJUST THE SENSITIVITY BUT AS I STATED BEFORE ONE MINUTE THEY WORK THE NEXT MINUTE THEY DONT. Are the platter lights turning from blue to red when you attempt to Scratch?

Ok here we go again new problems , I spent almost two hours trying to get the platters to work. (Day 1) I adjusted the sensors and nothing works, I rebooted the computer and still nothing works (Day 2) when I touch the platters the red light came on, But it is still didn't scratch.
(Day 3) while I was broadcasting live the right platter stopped working . I had to turn on and off the controller to get it to work. We need to figure what the proble is ! I KNOW THAT THESE THINGS SOMETIMES CRASH BUT THIS HAS NOT BEEN WORKING PROPERLY FROM DAY 1 . 'TRY TO GET THIS RESOLVED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AND PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UPDATED. IF THIS IS NOT RESOLVED SOON, I WILL HAVE TO RETURN THIS PRODUCT.

What taking so long for someone to respond? i also heard vestax is recalling the vci300 is that so.

my serial # is G89041952 its not on the recall list. still have all problem whats next?

If you place one hand on the case of the VCI-300 while scratching with the other hand, does it allow you to scratch?

same problem here... im on my second unit... only scratches with hand on the Vci..

tried 1.03 , 1.0.4 messed with the touch sensors... tried an adapter with it different Usb cables... different Buffer settings.. samething...

I don't know how this discussion could be close and i still have the same problem.
platters still don't scratch sonetime.
the decks freeze sometimes, i have updated the sofeware.
also when i shut down the program it dose not close normal it always say itch is not responding. lets get a fix;

i went and buy a mac book computer , i have a WD hard drive am trying to put the crates and sub crates on a Lacie hard drive. i have copy the WD hard drive to the lacie but when i open itch the crate dose not load what can i do
