Help, please. I am Chief Technical Engineer at Audio Magick Recording Studio, in West Babylon, New York, U.S.A.
We purchased Pitch 'n Time 2.2, authorized our iLok with the little plastic card, and then our iLok broke before it was ever synchronized with iLok.com, so, Pace has no record of this authorization, and our iLok is destroyed. This is why I am not a big fan of copy protection, and why I am against the iLok. Challenge/Response was fairly hassle-free; we have been unable to secure any replacement authorizations that were stored on that iLok in the month since the device was destroyed.
We have the box for the software (it is sitting right here), and we have the receipt for the software. We need a replacement authorization immediately, please.
You have been contacted by our Chief Recording Engineer, George Marshall, about this matter. It is urgent that we get this resolved with some immediacy. We can fax you a copy of the receipt for the software, if you need it. Please, just help us to use software that we bought and payed for.
Audio Magick is a full-service, professional recording facility. Much of our clientele are signed to major labels. We do serious work here, and this downtime is seriously impacting our work flow. It is a testament to the power of your wonderful software that losing its functionality has been relatively crippling to our workflow.
I'm begging. We are at your mercy.
