... so i lost the sound for half a second tonight - first time ever and i've been using this release with no problems at all...

didn't notice anything strange besides that - maybe the screen freezes a bit when i use my trigger-finger to activate loops or load song - but always did that

i'm on a

MAC OSX 10.5 2.2Ghz Inter Core 2 Duo 2Gb667 DDR2 SDRAM
iTunes 7.6.2 (9) - read itunes library ON
SL-1 (18221)
Trigger Finger
2x MK2

i didn't turn off the program yet - i don't know if there is any way i can send a report (or if you guys will advise me to upgrade to 10.5.5 and upgrade itunes as well

i've noticed that the loops don't really stay in sync - konix showed the way they don't drift as much but for me some of the tunes are still bad

nop, it's not a beatmatching problem - i'm thinking if it wouldn't be the cd players, as i tested both at tempo 0 and one is a bit faster than the other

Hello luis,

Have you had more than one half a second drop out?
Do you have your airport and bluetooth turned off?

As for loops not staying in sync.. this is normal and gets harder for loops to stay in sync the shorter the loops are.

Improvements were made in the more current versions of SSL but your still going to need to ride the pitch when mixing with loops.

nop - was the first drop out ever - and it was defo less than one second

bluetooth and airport off, yeah - i was just wondering if there was any way to send the report or if that is just for windows...

i use only 8, 16 and 32 beats for the loops (98% of the times is 16 beats) - not making a big deal out of it - just pointing it out...

If you've only had one half second dropout I wouldn't consider it a problem.

There isn't much any report is going to tell us about it.

Do some more testing and see if it rears its ugly head again.

If your getting a dropout issue you will see the usb light pop on at the top of the screen.

Let us know your findings.

alright no prob - close this one - i'll open again if i find anything special

need to browse a bit more to see if i can update to 10.5.5 but having loads of gigs so wouldn't have time to test and put everything back to 10.5 in case something goes wrong - same with updating itunes
