What is the Rane SL 1?

The Rane SL 1 is the classic audio interface for Serato Scratch Live.

The Rane SL 1 USB interface connects one or two standard vinyl or CD turntables to your computer using a single USB cable and audio connections to your DJ mixer.

This portable USB interface was released by Serato back in 2004 and has been manufactured by Rane Corporation to their high quality standards ever since. The SL 1 is a proven performer that is renowned for its durability and reliability. 

The SL 1 is praised for its very low latency performance, this means the response time from touching the decks to hearing an audio signal is extremely fast. Serato engineers developed system level audio drivers for the SL 1 that allow it to operate accurately and reliably at faster speeds than any other similar package.
