You have to create overviews for your songs for the auto tempo to work...it needs to know the BPMs.

Hi fabry,
Suwan is correct, for these functions to work properly, you need to have the songs correct BPM set.

If you have tracks that start with no kick drums for a short while it doesnt seem to detect bpm....

Some songs are more difficult for ITCH to work out the BPM than the others. If it isn't certain it won't add anything. If you want, upload one of the songs here: www.serato.com and we'll double-check the problem :)

Or alternatively, you could tap tempo the B.P.M yourself.
If it has a beat you can follow that should work fine.

I had the same issue with Version 1.0.3. .
Itch reads only the MP3 ID3 tag coz it can't analyze it by its self.
Scan your MP3 files with Mixmeister BPM Analyser.
www.mixmeister.com
Its updating the ID3 tag with the BPM information.
Now your Auto Sync & Loop should be working fine ;-)

LMAO.......Do you want the VCI to cook your tea for ya's as well!!?
Auto sync.....why use it?
Personally i bought this controller to keep a little bit of the "hands on" experience that i used to have from turntables then cdj's....if you cant give it a little tweak when its in the mix then whats the point....?!?!?

I believe you're missing the point here...
Itch is designed to perform mash ups and remixing in real time, which requires very precise syncronisation. Its more close to CD simulation if you like. Itch is not intended to simulate your turntable setup. For that, i guess you better join the SSL community. (I use both systems by the way)
@Trueasiatikffm: All my MP3's are analysed by BPM Analyser, even then the syncronisation is not precise enough. loops still drift too easily imho. You don't hear me say its not good, but it can be definitely made better.

I think that contradicts to:

I am having issues with the loop function, It is most likley i dont understand. You know what would be good is a video manual.

@nik39: i mean, itch's designed to do remixing and mashups but personally i think it must keep the beatsync a bit longer imho. i believe that will improve anyway...
