I tried radioshack and they didn't have one either. The sales person did tell me that I could use a different Ma as lond as I used the correct voltage but I don't trust it. There is a reason why there are different Ma's.
I hoped that by using one it would increase the usb power and make the software run smoother.

I'm just going to use a universal adapter like with my SSL box. I found one at Best Buy but they do sell them at Radio Shack as well.

Is it possible when you connect a option 9v 500ma adapter to the vci-300, the problem of the soundcard will be resolved?
Can anyone confirm this?

the french VESTAX dealer (MH DIFFUSION) tells me to use a DC 9V 1000 mA power adapter, but on the back of the VCI, it's writen 500 mA....!
Help me please, I dont want to burn my VCI....!

It's just a maximum current load that adapter can provide. Everything should be fine if adapter is rated no more than 9V and not less than 500mA.

OK so if I understand well (excuse but I'm french....lol), the adapter 9V 1000mA is OK for my VCI ?
