I'm running ITCH 1.0.3 (10303). There is no crash log.
First problem, i have to boot the vci sevral time before it works. (the machine is freezing or no sound get out). Then i can play for an hour before it freez again.

I tryed with an ac dc adaptator but same problem after a couple of minutes the machine stop and make a very dirty noize.

Does your whole computer freeze? Can you switch to other applications? Are you getting a bluescreen?

No, just the hardware is freezing. The computer still work normaly.

If you plug the USB cable and re-attach it... does it fix the problem?

Yes. for a moment..
I'm using it for 2 hours now and it work well but for how long ???? I was using an external hard drive (firewire). Now i put all my music in the computer, maybe this as an influance ?

The first thing I would suggest is trying a new USB cable and making sure it is attached properly. Are you using the USB cable that came with the VCI300?

When it freezes, can ITCH still be used with the mouse and keyboard?

No problems with the usb cable. I try 3 of them!!! I think there is a conflict between the VCI and the Os. The sound card doesnt like some thing. When the VCI freeze you still can control the app. am' i the only one who have this pb??

You mean you can control the app with the mouse, you can hear sound but the VCI controls do not work anymore?

Exactly. i can hear the sound and control itch with the mouse when the VCI freeze and i have to reboot it some time sevral time before it work's again.

Hi Karlkarl,
when the VCI300 is 'frozen', do its lights still change? For example, if you press the browse button on the software, does the browse button on the VCI300 light up?

Also if you use iTunes or some other audio application to play audio through the VCI300 does it work ok?

When the VCI is Frozen, and i press a touch, the light doesn't change.
When i play music with Itune through the Vci it works, but if i hit the jog it freeze. The muic still play. It freeze also if i hit the jog when itch is turned off.

The VCI is frozen as well when i hit a jog and there is no application on.

C'est vrai on devrait parler en français mais, l'anglais est le seul moyen d'avoir un support technique. D'ailleurs le suivi est bon et laisse espérer une solution.

have you tried adjusting the touch sensor level (on the back of the VCI300)? It sounds like maybe the problem is that your platters are getting stuck on or off.
When the VCI300 'freezes' can you still scroll up and down in the library using the up and down buttons on the VCI300?
If the touch sensor level can't fix things then can you still get the VCI300 to freeze if you avoid using the 'SHIFT' buttons?

J'ai une question a propos de la VCI-300

Quand on a mémorisé un CUE1 et qu'on a mis le "play from first cue point" sur "on", la lecture demare du CUE1 quand on appuie sur play, normal, mais si on appuie sur le CUE qui est est a cote de la touche Play, est ce qu'on revient au CUE1 ou faut-il appuyer sur CUE1 a chaque fois ?

Je vais maintenant essayer de vous expliquer ça en anglais..je me lance..!

When a cue1 is record on a song,and when we call that song on Itch, the song begin from cue1 if "play from first cue point" is "ON" (like SSL) but if I push the CUE botton wich is near the Play botton, does it go back to the first cue point (CUE1) or is it the CUE1 botton to push...? I dont know if you understand me..excuse for my english..!

Yes you can make the size bigger as long as you get the public beta of serato itch version 1.0.4, press CTRL + or CTR -

Si vous utilisez windows xp, il se peut que vous aurez un ralentissement du track quand ca joue ou quand vous faite du scratch, avec vesta c est pire. J ai eu le meme probleme. Cependant depuis que j ai achete un macbook pro, plus de probleme tout fonctionne.

J'ai un macbook unibody et j'ai également essayé avec un pc sous vista meme pb

je viens d'avoir ma ns7 et j'avoue ne pas encore etre completement convaincu,je suis utilisateur de scratch live aussi avec une rane ttm 57 et pas evident deja de retourner sur des faders numarks..Je pense quand meme que les faders semblent de bonne facture,mais ceux de chez ranes , etre la ferari du fader et du crossfader :P
bref tout ca pour dire que j'ai acheté cette machine pour son ergonomie et ça j'en suis completement convaincue.Là je viens de telecharger la version 1.0.5 et j'ai vu qu'il y avait des corrections (comme d'habitude avec rane :) j'espere que le sync va etre ameliorer car la synchronisation des tracks et vraiment pas terrible je trouve, et pour ça je suis assez deçu ! car ce que je demandais a cette ns7,c'etais aussi d'avoir une bonne synchro des morceaux entre eux.Je trouve que le m-audio x-ponent pour ça et les effets et mieux que ce soft pour l'instant!
Sinon j'espere que cette section va vite s'etoffer et en francais et que l'on aura un forum français a la hauteur de celui de scratch live :D

salut a tous j'ai un soucis avec ma vci 300,quand je mixe au bout de 4 m ca beug quelques secondes,1 ou 2 sec maxi puis ca repart mais avec des micros coupures toutes les 10 sec environ,c'est ingerable,j'ai desinstallé et reinstallé le logiciel itch mais rien a faire je suis sur vista avec un toshiba tout neuf donc je pense pas que ca vienne de la config ordi bref c'est la merde,si quelqu'uns peut m'aider c'est super !!

hi to all, I have a problems with my vci 300, when I mix in about 4 minutes it beug few seconds, 1 or 2 seconds max then it off again but with micro -cut every 10 sec, is unmanageable, I uninstalled and reinstalled the software itch but there're nothing to do, I am on vista with a brand new toshiba so I don't think it comes from the config computer brief is the shit, if anyone can help it ' is super!

Je viens d'acquérir une vci 300 avec serto itch.
Je trouve le contrôleur plutôt sympa malgré le manque d'effet
Mais je trouve que itch est vraiment merdique.
C impossible d'avoir un réglage de pitch parfait
Faut tjrs retoucher au plateau pour recaler le tout
Alors qu'avec des CDJ 1000 ou 2000 quand c réglé....c réglé y a plus qu'a mixer
C vraiment dommage qu'il n'y ai pas 2 chiffres après la virgule sur le pitch
Et le bouton de rattrapage ne sert strictement a rien
Quelqu'un aurait une idée?????
