Vertical and Horizontal??

I see in the screen shot the wave forms are horizontal.
Please include the option for both like in SSL.
I prefer vertical over horizontal but at least the choice will be there for those that like it the other way ;-)

+1
I'd like ITCH to be as close to SSL as possible! I'm sure they feel the need to differentiate the products though, so I'm not trippin...

i've always used horizontal waveforms in Serato. not sure why, maybe it's my background in reading sheet music (I played trumpet all thru school).

Yes+1, with the ability to move the playhead off to the left (already played) side.

I think Serato should keeps its uniqueness in vertical waveforms display. There are too many software out there that display horizontally. Having said that, an option to choose either would be excellent!!!

ITCH will have both horizontal and vertical waveforms just like SSL :)

How do u make the wave form longer? With the decks pushed a little further to the sides. NOT wider or smaller using the + and -. But longer.

Dj Allen E, are you refering to ITCH or ScratchLIVE?
For ScratchLIVE you can change the waveform length by changing the audio cache size. This setting is found on the display tab in the setup screen.
For ITCH the waveforms will stretch to the width of the screen.
You can find more information specific to ScratchLIVE at www.scratchlive.net

Because like most Numark products, they promise the stars and fail in performance.
Usually the problem is reliability!

For me, I am not really interested in the NS7 - My interest has always been in the VCI-300 since it was announced - there is a lot of promise and potential in this unit and compact to boot!!
We have a new video of it in action on Pro DJ Forums if anyone would like to check it out.
It is the last video in the 1st post -> www.prodjforums.com
Yo Sam.....Send me a VCI-300 already ;-)

I've never used those Denon CD players with the little record on top, but I've heard plenty of good reviews about them. The NS7 looks like it has 2 of them built in, and a wider space for mixing...

Found this on Numark site

Can I use the NS7 with Serato Scratch Live?
Yes. You can configure NS7 to work with Scratch Live. You can also use your Scratch LIVE crates, loops, and cue points created in ITCH.
*
Can I use NS7 with other DJ software such as Native Instruments Traktor?
Yes. NS7 can be configured to work with most MIDI DJ software.
*
What does adjustable torque mean with regard to the platters?
We designed NS7 to have a feel adjustment. When it's set to the heavy "modern" setting, it feels very similar to a Numark TTX turntable. We designed the lighter "classic"setting to be very similar to another very popular turntable's feel.
*
Are the crossfader and line faders replaceable?
Yes.

So that means that it can be use natively with SSL?

Hi Guys.
No the NS7 is not compatible with Scratch LIVE, that FAQ is incorrect and we have asked Numark to change it. ITCH and Scratch LIVE are compatible though, they share the same library and your music, cue points and crates will show up in both programs.
Cheers
Dylan.
