Mac Antivirus... Yes or No???

Mac Antivirus... Yes or No???

I have a 6 month old Macbook Pro. I really don"t go online with it at all. It's mainly used for Serato only. Do you guys use any Antivirus on your Macs??

I don't have a MAC, but an antivirus can be ineffective you don't constantly go online to update it.. If you introduce something new to you system, say from a flash drive and your antivirus is not up-to-date you can still be infected.

But I heard viruses are a rarity on Mac's for due to the OS structure and hackers don't bother focusing on writing malware for the system since it is in the global minority..
