Everyone wants to turn DJ over night. And since of the release of Virtual DJ everyone has been able to download a program and become DJ in a matter of hours.

Apparently this guy figured that he could just download the program like virtual DJ and start playing without the Control Box, or Mixer, or what not.
GUY: Man I had a spot to play at and everything!
ME: Where the ***** is the rest of your gear?
GUY: What gear???
ME: CD Players? Turn tables? Mixer?

^ LOLwhat kills me is people are so used to pirating shit that they think YOUR an ashole for not figuring out a way for them to get it for free. ^ happend to me like once a week and i get the "your a fucking idiot" look when i tell them i paid for stuff.
I told this story in another thread but what REALLY gets me isnt the customers because most of them just wanna goof around with it but ive had....OWNERS come up and try to get free shit. I had an owner come up to me a few weeks ago who was opening a new club. He and a guy i cna only assume was going to be his new DJ came in to check out my setup and they started tryin to get info out of me about where to get stuff. First they asked where i got my music and vids from, i told them im in pools and they FREAKED out, like you PAY for videos I can get them for free off torrents and youtube. Then they asked what i was using to play them and I told them SL and VSL and they were asking what torrents they could get that from, i told them i paid and they started laughing saying i was an idiot and they NEVER pay for software and can hack anything ect ect blablabla.....Im like you OWN 1 club and your opening another stop being a cheap ass fucker and spend some of that money your making and quit stealin. I need to come to his new bar and go behind the bar and start drinkin liquor and when they say something say "you PAY for this...i can get this stuff from my boys house for free...i dont pay for drinks"
