this works perfectly for me, and has done so for a while as far as i remember!

here is how:
play a track on either deck, lets say deck one
open sample player tab
make sure you enable all gui elements with the little button on the right
switch sample play mode for one slot to the play mode looking like this:
|-->

loop the track on your deck 1
pull that track to the sample slot
loops until you stop it

especially, you want to enable the "mode" view

ah i forgot to tell
switch "play from" to "loop 1" or whichever loop you want

strangely this even works when play mode is like this:
- - - >
(which is ok if i think about it)

or even when play mode is like this:
|---|

after having seen this video i find nothing i can't do with my setup except two things:

- 4 decks (but thats obvious with a two deck mixer)

- apply FX on samples. this would be nice to have indeed.

Is there a simpler way such as looping the track on a deck and dragging it to a sample player without all the fess of enabling this mode and setting this loop, etc? I just think it should be automated to a certain point

anyone know if you can go from loop to loop.... like cue jumping and have the next loop already activated and switched on ?

inside the sample player not
but on a deck, when you have several loops saved, you could do the following:
while in loop 1
turn loop off
select loop 2
hit CTRL + the key to activate a loop on that deck (they are left to the enter key, label depends on your keyboard language)
instant jump to that loop and activated.
so you should take care that you are on beat.

but i would prefer beeing able to enable several loops independently and then as i do now allready but only for one loop per track, just put a cue marker at the beginning or even somewhere inside the loop. that would be awesome but is not available yet.

Yeh i just want to be able to play loop to next loop without having to turn each new loop on or off , just have them on and triggered with a cue point ........so i can play drum kit and use midi pad with drum kit and then be Dj + Drumming ........and jump from loop to loop with out ON or Off just On always , DAMN IT !!!!!!! DO IT !!! DO IT !!! DOOOOO IT !!!!!! lol

A Switch for settings that already exist and permanently ON would be perfect

Best reason !!! 9 Loops v's 6 in the Sample player , and can be controlled ....otherwise u need to have the sample player AUTO SYNC the loops , cause it gets messy ......unlike in other NI program (Traktor) that i didn't want to use , so come on serato .......i didn't hold faith in you for nothin'
