I found a beatgrid tutorial on djtechtools, but its for traktor. Are the itch beatgrids the same concept or would that tutorial not apply here?

There's a Beatgrid entry in the Xone:DX manual. If you didn't get one with the DX, then you can download it from here: www.serato.com
Otherwise there are 2 articles here:
Introduction to Beatgrids: www.serato.com
How to Create and Edit Beatgrids (DX): www.serato.com
If you don't have the DX, but are looking at using another ITCH device, after the above Introduction article, have a look at the ITCH 1.7 beta area for more information on Beatgrids for ITCH.
Cheers.

Cool - things have changed somewhat between the Xone:DX and ITCH 1.6 version and the new ITCH 1.7 - so until 1.7 is officially released the online articles will be Xone:DX focused (and somewhat wrong in some areas).

Cool, hope they'll explain everything. If not, just ask a question here.
