Are you getting the hardware disconnected message? Have you checked to see if the mixer needs a firmware update?
DJ TAMER 7:26 PM - 22 March, 2010
no it shows that the 57 is connected..

but i havent checked for the firmware update..
how can i do that?

Go to the Set-Up Screen and under the Hardware Tab check the Firmware version. If you see a button that says Update Firmware - click there.
DJ TAMER 5:34 PM - 23 March, 2010
and what is the latest version their is?

i had the same problem..... so i quit SL and switched off the TTM 57SL. Then restarted SL, turned on the TTM 57SL. Then clicked 'update firmware' again. Presto magic.

Try this:

Turn on the mixer and connect it to your computer
Open the ScratchLIVE program
Hold down the 2 High Kill Buttons on the mixer (Do not let go)
Turn off the mixer - count to 5
Turn the mixer back on - count to 5
Now let go of the Kill Buttons
The mixer should then reset and reboot the Firmware

Did this work?
DJ TAMER 8:25 PM - 31 March, 2010
no that didnt seem to work i did it and at first it looked to work it said updating firmware version, do not turn off mixer...
but when it finished it still hadnt done any changes the effect sections still dnt show up..
and when i go to set up it says update firmware version V 0.00 to V 3.20..

Try installing version ScratchLIVE 1.9.1 from here: scratchlive.net

DJ TAMER 6:32 AM - 1 April, 2010

You plugged your mixer into a friends computer running 1.9.2 and eveything worked OK? Thats strange...

Did 1.9.1 help with the firmware update?
DJ TAMER 2:37 AM - 8 April, 2010
yeah it worked fine with his computer..

but no with 1.9.1 its still the same

Try the new 2.0 official release and see if you can upgrade the firmware with that version.

IF NOT THEN...

Can you try upgrading the firmware on your friends computer and see if it stays on the mixer?

Or install 1.8.3 from here: scratchlive.net

And try this when 1.8.3 is installed:

Turn on the mixer and connect it to your computer
Open the ScratchLIVE program
Hold down the 2 High Kill Buttons on the mixer (Do not let go)
Turn off the mixer - count to 5
Turn the mixer back on - count to 5
Now let go of the Kill Buttons
The mixer should then reset and reboot the Firmware

Then install 2.0 and see if the Firmware upgrades.
DJ TAMER 8:32 AM - 12 April, 2010
yeah i got it working with scratch 2.0
and all the features seem to be working right...
thanks for the help!

What do you mean it doesnt show you the effects? Are you saying the Hardware tab is not showing up? How does it start working if you move the buffer? Please explain.
DJ TAMER 6:50 AM - 28 May, 2010
well the hardware tab shows but like the top where the play and pause simble dont show only the circle and it doesnt, play music... and when i move the buffer size it starts playinig music when i start the turntable but the hardware tab stays the same
and when i try to change groups it goes really slow... for example when im on the effects group.. and i cant change the effect or i cant see how much feedback or delay i add. hope this is more of help....
but i have a feeling its a computer related problem cus when i dj with other djs that have version 1.9 or 2.0 it works fine with them...

It must be a computer issue. Have you ran a virus scanner? If not - I would do so. I would also consider re installing the commuters OS - sounds like that may solve all your issues.
DJ TAMER 9:26 PM - 6 June, 2010
how do u install the commuters OS?

RafaelM 3:25 PM - 7 June, 2010
If you are not familiar with this process - I would not attempt it alone. I recommend you take it to a computer repair shop and they should be able to do that for you.
DJ TAMER 11:04 PM - 7 June, 2010
okay i think ima do that..
thanks anyways.
