So i am new to this serato thing (i used vdj for years) since VDJ keeps messing up when i use ns7 i decided i should use the program that comes in the box. so i am being a good dj and following the setup like i am suppose too.

I analyze the songs on my external hard drive woke up and it said itch crash so ok went to the songs with the little broken disc but they still played so how are these files labeled this way why do they still works? and now how am i suppose to know which song crashed itch?

how can i add my hd to the search lib. i hit crtl + f so i can search but it never finds files on my ex.hd. do i have to make a crate with ALLLLLLL of my songs so crtl + f would work ?

Theres a function in vdj when u click on external hd it ask do you want to add to search database i click yess and look when i type in a name it works

Suspected bad tracks, show this logo. Bad songs will show a broken disk item.
You can add your external music to Itch's main libary and search this way. Differently to VDJ when the drive is not connected the files will not be shown.

i just reread this i said i had a broken disc icon like the one you descibe
look at the picture i uploaded the track is playing (frontin' dancehall remix) but it has the icon next to it

Hello, where did you source these tracks its possible they do not follow standard encoding.

You can do this via the file section in the browser. Locate your external drive on this tab and drag the folders you wish to add to the library to the library section.
