Line fader cruve adjustments?

Hey gang, having gone from the 52i mojo
to the 54, to the empath Ive noticed the fader contour for the line faders
on the 57 seem to slope much sharper than its predecessors.
IE, with the line fader @ 75% you hear almost nothing
at 85% you hear a little.
95-100% there is a drastic increase
(much like the sharp setting...but the sharp setting is LITERALLY nothing
from 0 to 98%
is this a permanant setting, or something that can be tweeked with firmware?
on my empath/56 I could mix dance music with not a whole lot of tweaking
of the gains (aside from finding the initial perfect level to keep the house meter bouncy for each individual track)
not that its a big deal, goin to the line trim rather than the line fader.
but it just seemed the line faders on other models were more precise.
I know its no rotary....;)....yet

I have no personal experience of this but i did read somewhere on these forums that there was a firmware update at some stage to change the curve of the line faders as EDM people found them too sharp.
I would be interested to know how the curve is after, if you update. Thanks

I don't like the Slope at all - I had the MP24 for 9 years and loved it when I crossed my over lays. The 57 cross fader is nothing like it! I wish it was just like the MP 24!

Where is the link to the update?
The last update got rid of the dip on the CF. I didn´t know there was a new one.
I personally don´t like the line fader settings.
