slow midi controllers?

slow midi controllers?

hi all

i got myself a korg nano pad to go with my ttm-57sl, to make my cue point mashing a little more visually impressive, but i'm really disappointed that it doesn't have the same accurancy as the soft keys on the ttm.

there's a slight latency, and it struggles to keep up with really fast tapping, which the ttm handles beautifully.

is this inherent in all midi controllers compared with the ttm, or is the nano pad lame, or have i got it set up wrongly or something

I use the Akai MPD32 with Scratchlive on my Macbook, no latency there.

If the nanopad is connected through a USB-hub, maybe trying connecting it directly as a test.
