FEATURE REQUEST: NS7 TAP button useless in the future.

That tap should be the new SHIFT button instead of DELETE. The Delete is too far away from your loop keys and makes is difficult to perform 1-handed loop rolls and have much control over the faders at the same time... Just my suggestion.

Maybe there should be a choice in the SETUP to
Assign SHIFT to Tap button or
Assign SHIFT to DELETE button...?

@breaker....
deleting cue's simply by holding down both delete and the cue, could be done with 1 hand and it's easier than relying on your capability to count to 2 lol

@breaker: it wasn't intended personally, just joking around, want to clarify since i don't want to be misinterpreted...so excuse me if i gave the wrong impression....i should have wrote 'relying on one's capability to count to 2 (after drinking a couple of beers)'
now seriously, i have deleted mu cue's when i didn't intend it, cause now you hit delete to loop roll, but if you decided to not go through with it and instead wanted to jump to a cue BUT the delete function was still active than you have one cue point less...happened more than once already, that's why i actually would prefer that the delete function only works when both buttons were held down....
again, apologies if it sounded like i was putting you down, that was absolutely not the intention !

@breaker..: we have something in common then :)
glad that's sorted out :)
cause i really appreciate you, especially after making that scratch movie for me :)
result : the white lines on te right of the crossfader are almost gone :)
still can't cut the fader with the left hand though...

Hey guy, I was joking too. I am in this forum to learn, enjoy, and if I can help the others. I´m not here for to fight like other people. You can call me fool, idiot, or whatever you want, but I never get angry. Many people take things too seriously. Not me. :)exactly....they are alot of us on this forum that have a friendly respect for one another so they little jibbs and jokes are like two brothers/sisters on a saturday afternoon....

I've been saying this for so long now, finally you guys are catching on.make the delete button be the trigger example... have the delete button flashing constantly to indicate in sampler mode, then use the cue button to drop it

honestly i would like a dedicated controller for sampler. if i were to do samples it would not be just drops and airhorns. i would like control over it :)
but all for making that button functional elsewise

I agree with kraal (although hopefully the sampler is also a USB hub), but I'm also in in agreement with the TAP button being more logical than delete for the loop roll and other "shift" functions...
