Here we go... I put together another throw-away mix (some of the cuts are quality though).
DJ GaFFle -= Southern-Sauce Series vol. 1 =-

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Patron - Sean Garrett feat. Pharrell
Nasty Girl - Ludacris
Shawty Say - David Banner
Turnin' Me On - Keri Hilson
Show Out - Dj Unk
Got Money - T-Pain
Umbrella - Rihanna feat. Jay Z
Swing ya Rag - Swizz Beatz
Block 'Em - Mims
Jumpin' Out the Window - Ron Browz
Blame it on the Alcohol - Jamie Foxx
How it's supposed to Be - Ryan Leslie
You Can Get it All - Little Bow Wow
Good Lovin' - Silk (of 112)
Caramel - City High
Why Don't We Fall in Love - Amerie
I Love You - Keyshia Cole
Addicted (remix) - Ryan Leslie
Go Hard - Dj Khaled
Imma G - Da Get-Away Boyz
She Got it - 2 Pistols feat. T-Pain
Look at the Duece (Gaffle blend) - Paul Wall feat. D4L
Diva - Beyonce
Bust it Open - Lil Wil
Turn my Swag On - Soulja Boy
Ain't I - Yung LA feat. Yung Dro
Half a Brick - OJ Da' Juiceman
Up Through There - Shop Boyz
My President is Black - Young Jeezy
Whatever You Like - T.I.
Video Phone - Beyonce
About a B*tch - Yung Ralph
Gettin' Some Head - Shawnna feat. Too Short
Nasty Song - Lil Ru
Rockin' that Thang - The Dream
Beep Beep (remix) - Bobby Valentino feat. Ludacris
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----
This is my first mix using SSL 1.9. I had no problems using it (except an effects issue which was my error). Version 1.9 almost seems like it's ready for primetime based on my usage. I only used two or three sound bites from the sampler and didn't get a chance to use my reggae horns as I ran out of time.
This mix is a compilation of stuff the ladies have requested in the club from time to time plus some stuff I tossed in. You'll quickly tell there's a strong southern lean as far as the song choices go, so if you're not feeling that type of music, this mix isn't for you.
As a note: Ludacris is moving up my list of dope/clever lyricists. Check him out on "Nasty Girl" and the "Beep Beep remix".
Feel free to comment or make suggestions.

I try. I have a little extra time on my hands and I need a decent handout for the local clubs so that's why I made it.
Tell me about it. I need to play more of her music to help her get back in the limelight. Those legs and that smile still resonate with me. :-)

lol.
"I listened to the mix in it's entirety Gaffle. I like the part where the song comes on after the other one is almost over, but they blend so perfectly that I thought the 1st song was still going. I also like the beats and rhymes of every song chosen. That 1 scratch you did was tight, and your cutting made me want to go to Culinary school."
Okay... I just perform a Mod move and transplanted these quotes from the -= Hottest Track, Club Banger =- thread. {not sure how it got started there}
I appreciate the compliments, it gives me inspiration to make another. I think I'll wait for a new wave of currents to come through though.
LoL, on the Culinary school comment. :-)

ha ha ha ha... come on man do't be scurred ;-) I'm with ya on that man. There really isn't too many of us that post Hot Garbage mixes. Mine are cool, but i need to work on multitracking. I do everything one take and i also start off too slow :-( But it get's the job done
DJ GaFFle
2:38 PM - 11 February, 2009
I've never tried the multi-track thing. I've got to see someone do it because I really don't understand the concept or technique. I've always felt multi-tracking was cool for the listener but from a DJs perspective, it's like cheating. If you can't perform the same mix in public, then you're cheating. Kind of like artists that have studio voices and have to panto-mime when in concert.

yep, I feel the same way. tight mix, by the way GaFFle. I've never heard all those southern joints before.
DJ GaFFle
7:10 PM - 11 February, 2009
A lot is the stuff they're playing on the radio down here. Some are popular in smaller towns like Augusta. All of 'em keep the dance floor filled (for dirty south music lovers).

I don't have a problem with commercial music.
But hey, seriously, I don't often skip forward, I usually deal with the crap until it's over...
But this Ron Brownz song is absolute crap.

Nik39, I have to agree, that Ron Browz is not very revolutionary...
I'm wondering how people like that song. I'd rather listen to Lil Wayne.

And one other thing... how in the hell can someone be out of tune using autotune? This song is like fingernails across a chalkboard.
DJ GaFFle
4:06 PM - 12 February, 2009
I think the era of auto-tune may be fading so Ron Browz better look for a new gimmick to sell records. I wonder if T-Pain is working on a new sound. He's got hook and song writing ability so that may save him.

I generally don't have an issue with T-Pain using autotune. I have an issue with rappers using it. WTF does someone need autotune for rap vocals is just beyond comprehension to me.

You'Re so goddamn right... I don't understand this either.
It's as T-PAin said in that interview... Ron is just not using it right.

Sup K.Smizzle. Looking for work (DJ)... That's why you've seen 2 mixes in the last month, LOL.
It has allowed me to concentrate more on my real job though.
I'm head'n to the sticks (Augusta) tomorrow night to do a gig. I've noticed that when I practice more, I rock crowds better. I did an employee party a couple of weeks ago at this spot called Strip and had'em climbing up a pole. <--- no misquote
