Final Cut Express vs Studio

Guys,
There's quite a big price difference between express and studio... Just wanna get feedback on whether the express is good enough to do basic music video editing (like adding intros or adding different audio track to video). Don't want to pay an extra grand for features that I probably won't use in the studio version or buy the express version and find out I should have gotten studio for a key missing feature.
BTW, I finally made the switch to Mac and am so happy I did. All sorts of weird problems would come up with my Vista laptop after I thought I had solved things... But, the MBP has been golden from day 1.

I have both. If you want easy editing tools for a cheap price then, yes, FCExpress is just fine. You can do some decent effects and transitions with it.
If you plan on doing some fun stuff like titles and effects with motion, or even want to get really good at editing i'd say go for Studio. I'm a beginner at it, but there are some GREAT tutorials on Motion 3 (which is amazing!).
For the novice, i'd go with Final Cut Express. You can do a lot, for a fraction of the price.

p.s. Here's an example. I just did a couple of effects like changing the Fatboy Slim Vid to black and white and added the proper "widescreen" size. A few edits and changed the speed where it needed to be.

you'll be sorry if you only go with express and then you'll buy studio anyway (or steal it).
take my advice and just buy once. studio is the only way to go.
