Associating Same Audio to Same Video

Ok. I could have swore that this worked when I first started playing with Video SL.

What I want is for when I associate a video with an audio track, I want the video to start at its first cue point, not from the beginning. I have old school 80's vids that have the intros(and poor sound quality) that i want to bypass b/c the higher quality audio file doesnt have them(of course). Basically I want the video I associate to an audio track to start from where I set its first cue point on. Is there a setting I may have un checked, or that i need to check??? as of now i am opening the vidz in iMovie, and wiping out the beginnings of the videos that i dont want... HELP PLZ

If the video file is loaded to the virtual deck and not the preview window, it should start from your set cue point, but since the audio track is associated with the virtual deck controls, the video will simply play from the start when assigned to a song.

so is there anyway around this, or am i simply gonna have to keep editing the intros out, or editing out everything up until where i would like it to start from?

To be honest, I'm not sure. It sounds like something would need to change with how the associations between audio and video files work. For example, adding the ability for the video "decks" (ie the preview windows) to use cues and etc.

There is no workaround AFAIK.
