Just a thought... something that I love with resolume if is swf support and i'm for ever encoding swf's as mov's anyway.
The thing I love about swf is that animations can be actionscripted to be abit more dynamic and create. E.g. new year I have an swf animation of a clock thats synced to my computer clock through as. I can also imagine an actionscript variable that can detect position in the timeline and thus check for change in direction of tt and e.g. flip image etc...

SWF support would be awesome! I do alot of my animations on Flash, and I end up saving them as MPG's. :(

Glad others would want this aswell. I feel quite geeky on my own lol...
I do prefer doing my own anims and flash is a good place to start think there's allot of creative scope...
One of my other ideas would be to have a video .flv in a .swf and use a flash cookie (flash shared object), to add extra controls to the video with actionScript. Could even use Wii flash to control it with a Wii remote.
Actually thinking about it you could use it to control one or more webcams. I already have the script written for that for resolume...
But yeah more thought on the subject wether it would be for just simple animations or more complication functions using actionScript swf support would be v good if it was implimented the same way as resolume 2 integrated it. I will have a look to see if there's a SDK about for it.

I would definitely learn Flash better to be able to pull off some of this kind of stuff.
And animation as swf is better than compressing it into H264.
