I’ve got a problem with the zoom function and my MAC. First of all I have to say, that I've got a Mac from Switzerland (special keyboard layout)

The zoom-out function “-“works. But the zoom-in function “+” doesn’t work.

I’ve got a keyboard layout for Switzerland and the “+” button is on the key “1” as you can see in the link (de.wikipedia.org).

Some people in the German forum helps me out and says, that the “+” button from the German keyboard is at the same place like the “!” on the Swiss keyboard.

But, when I push the “!” button on my Swiss keyboard (it’s the button for the German “+”), the zoom in function doesn’t work!

Maybe I have to click on e special position on screen to zoom in?
Maybe I have to push another combination of buttons with my Swiss keyboard layout to zoom in?

The new 1.8.2 function "bigger letter" - CTRL + - is on Swiss keyboard - CTRL ^ -. This function works! But only "^" for zoom-in doesn't work either.

Serato, please fix the combination of buttons for functions to a system ho works with different keyboard layouts (if this is possible :-) ).

Hi DJACOBB,

You can change your keyboard preferences in OS X by going to System Preferences -> International -> Input Menu and selecting another layout (I suggest using US). Make sure you have the "Show input menu in menu bar" option ticked also. You will now see a small flag icon appear in your menu bar (top of the screen, next to the volume control) and you can click on that to choose which layout you wish to use. If you select US and then run Scratch LIVE you should have all the keyboard shortcuts available, although you'll have to have a play around as I'm not sure which key you'd use. I hope this helps :)

Michael, this is just a temporary workaround, right?

Thanx Michael, I've done this as a temporary solution before I read your comment. I hope you will bringing another solution for the Swiss users if you can do that :-)
