itch with vestax vci300 Vs Traktor with vci100 (or other midi cont)

Okay so I'm heading into the dark unknown depths of digital via a midi controller from my current abode of SSL and normal vinyl. Thing is, I'm getting told by a few other djs I know to go down the Traktor 3 route due to the four virtual decks / quantized jump to cues / effects on each deck etc.

I'm a nu disco / house / downbeat bar music player who runs the odd party and will be utilising it to play out every now and then. I don't scratch (not live anyway) and my priorities are easy of set up and reliability which is why I came to Serato in the first place I guess.

If you have experience of both set ups via midi controller, please share your thoughts. They'd be much appreciated.

Thanks

This is my opinion:

I'm a club/bar/wedding/Party dj

Are 3 years that played with traktor and (almost 2 year with) vci-100+audio8.

Traktor is a very very great software but when I realise that usually I don't use effect,I don't Use sync (Yes I'm a dj :-) , I don't use 4 deck.... I decide to buy a vci-300. (in reality i'm wating for...Now I use vci-300 of my freinds)

With vci-100 I must bring with me: soundcard (and cable)+ vci-100 (and cable)+ computer + external mixer (for emergency if my computer crash)+ipod (emergency player)+ multi socket for electricity!

With itch : computer + vci 300 (only 1 usb cable) + ipod = all in 1 bag!!!

Itch for my opinion is a little unripe but is very reliable and with essenzial feature.

Thanks..

I like the space and ease of Itch and love the waveforms next to each other.
Stability like SSL.
Wish for some FX and filter.
Sound of VCI 300 is quite good.

Also forgot to say the unit ha really smooth faders and larger platters than the vci100.
I like the fact all I have to do is plug into the line in and ready to jam.
Really solid product in my opinion.
