Two of the pins inside the USB jack are bent, and I can't insert the cable.
That's basically all -- I tried putting in my cable as usual and noticed that the two bottom ones were bent, and I have no idea how to fix the problem -- is it possible to open the box and just replace the jack? Praying for that.
Thanks for any help!

You could just replace the USB jack if you want to. Its a generic part and any computer repair shop should have the part. I wouldn't attempt to do it unless you have experience in electrical repair tho.
If you take it in to the computer repair shop, they should be more than qualified to repair it.

Hey Rafael, I've spoken to several computer repair places. One told me "We don't replace USB jacks." The other told me "It's not worth it to repair the jack." -- whatever that means. Should I be looking for a specific type of repair place? I need the box fixed ASAP.
Thanks again for your help,
Rob

A new USB cable will work for those who are having issues with the cable itself.
The USB port on the SL1 is intentionally designed to "give" a little so it does not snap off. But, if the bluelight is not staying on and if SSL reads "Hardware Disconnected" then your usb port might just need replacement.

That always freaked me out... glad to hear you say it is the way it is supposed to be.
