How to use an external mixer and Itch /VCI -300

I was thinking maybe one could use the VCI-300 & Itch with an external mixer by using the master outs to one input of a mixer and the other platter & cue /a stereo headphones out to the other line in of the mixer. Would it work?

Theoretically it will work, but your output levels and quality will not be the same.

I do not see why not. Technically it is just another stereo out from the Maya Audio card.

You have two different gain structures.

Master via channel gains/faders and master control.

Headphone output is not as powerful you will be peaking this out all the time in order to match the other.

Maybe true..
..The internal mixer is cool, so not needed really.
All in one is the beauty of this unit.
