VCI 300 and external soundcard

Hi folks!

Just want to ask anyone if the VCI will work with a firewire external soundcard? I have a presonus firebox and I was wondering if it works with the software (and hardware)?

I have a VCI 300 and a Firebox - please be specific on what you want me to try and I will test it out tonight.

Hi MDX,

I want to ask if we can use the Presonus as the primary sound driver instead of the built-in soundcard in the VCI 300 to remove latency issues. I presume using the firewire will sound better than the usb route?

no you cant, itch unfortunately dosent support outboard soundcards :( BIG mistake in my opinion.... :(

i have an outboard Motu 828mk2 and cant map to anything on it, and it pretty much renders Itch useless for me unfortunately... however i hope VDJ, Traktor, or Deckadance will pick up on the VCI 300 soon and have that problem fixed :)
