noticed a couple of stuff today between the 2....it was said that 1.0.4 gave you more headroom on the gains and stuff, well i compared the 2 today and 1.0.3 sounded a lot more punchier, louder.....have a listen urselfs!

secondly, while ive been using 1.0.4 ive noticed that ive had to fight with it quite a bit to keep it in the mix.....used 1.0.3 again and the mixes were pretty much tight as *u*@!

opinions on this please? :O)

apart from that the other updates on 1.0.4 are very welcome but.......i wont be using it till above issues are sorted.

the changes made to the mix architecture in 1.0.4, do attenuate the output signal, this is to create more headroom for mixing two tracks, gaining the trim & also for adjusting the equalization.
There is not a lot of headroom in the 1.0.3 release, so it is very easy to hit the limiter on the output stage, there should be no change to the dynamics of the tracks you are playing as a consequence.
If you wish to increase the overall volume of a track, give it more gain with the trim knob.

OK sweet as, I'm not sure what would be making it harder for you to mix in 1.0.4 but that is interesting.
