Hi there, Anthony up in Calgary, Canada here. So I had my first issues with Serato this weekend and am really stressing out about. I don't know if they're related or not, but it was 2 seperate things, on 2 diff nights. First off, I'm using 1.8.3, and a sony laptop running xp pro. So my first issue was Friday night. Where my laptop sits in the club when I play, there is a bit of vibration from the subs, and during one bass heavy track, it started to skip, and looking on the screen, the wavform was actually breaking up onscreen, meaning there was gaps in it, and that was where the gaps in the song were. It only happened during that track. Secondly, and most concearning, was last night, at a diff club, the music cut right out, 3 times. It showed I was still connected, but there was no input at all from the turntables, and the only way to fix it was to unplug the serato box and plug it back in. I do have a cooling base, that my laptop sits on, that passes the usb signal through to my laptop, but this has never been an issue. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks, and help!

So the cooling base is pretty much acting like a usb hub?
That's a major no no. ALWAYS connect your SSL box directly to the USB port on your laptop.

Ya, it was. I never had an issue with it, but will plug directly into the laptop from now on.
