crates reload!!

why is it when i plug my usb outlet from my SSL box into my laptop (usb) it reload my crates leaving alot of them opened out? and scattered...is there anyone else having this problem , it didn't used to do this before when i first bought my SSL

what type of computer are you using?

what operating system?

what version of scratchlive?

are you using an external drive?

are you using I-tunes?

window xp , gateway laptop , im using the 1.82 (the latest)...yes i use an external drive , no itunes

typically when we see crates getting jumbled up, it is due to pulling the plug out of the computer from the external drive when you are done. It is very important that you properly eject it every time you disconnect it.

Have you built your overviews and deleted the bad / corrupt files? There might be some database corruption. That usually means recent changes don't get saved, but I think the answer lays within these two scenerios.

ok , i on the other hand was thinking hardware problem ,cause as i noted before this didnt use to happen , and i really dont know whats the cause , lets say all my crates are loaded , once i plug in my usb for SSL my list go blank and then my hardrive rescans (in windows) , the crates then re appear all opened out , i have to now close back all unneccesary crates that were open throughout the process .. ?
